Why homebirth?
Giving birth at home can be a deeply sacred and empowering experience, one that honors the way God designed your body and this incredible journey into motherhood. In a home setting, you’re surrounded by the comfort of your own space, filled with peace, prayer, and the presence of those you love.
There are no wires or machines to distract you. Just room to breathe, move, and listen to the gentle leading of your body and spirit. You’re in a place where you feel safe, supported, and held; both by your birth team and by the Lord.
Partners often feel more connected and involved at home, and children can be included if that’s part of your vision. Birth becomes a family experience, full of grace and intimacy. It’s your story, written in your own space, with God’s presence woven through each moment.
And while labor and birth are a beautiful part of it all, there’s something truly special about curling up in your own bed afterward, sharing a meal, and resting in the comfort of home.
What’s included in a homebirth
Faith-Centered Prenatal Care
From the very beginning, we walk with you through pregnancy with a heart of service, compassion, and prayerful support. You may choose office visits or the comfort of in-home appointments as we journey together through each stage of your pregnancy.
Starting care late? That’s perfectly okay. We’ll gladly pick up at whatever stage of pregnancy you’re in and support you from here with compassion and grace.
Your prenatal schedule includes:
10–28 weeks: One visit per month
28–36 weeks: Visits every two weeks
36 weeks until birth: Weekly visits as we prepare your heart and home for baby.
Each prenatal visit lasts about an hour, giving us the space to slow down, listen deeply, and build a meaningful relationship. During these visits we:
Check maternal & fetal vitals (blood pressure, pulse, baby’s heartbeat, growth, position, and more)
Discuss test and screening options
Offer nourishment and lifestyle guidance
Support you through the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy
Provide Christ-centered preparation for labor, birth, and postpartum
Pray with you or over your pregnancy if desired
Answer questions and ensure you feel seen, supported, and safe
Our care model is rooted in the belief that God designed birth with intention, and that peaceful, informed, relationship-based care leads to healthier outcomes for both mother and baby.
Postpartum & Newborn Care
Birth is just the beginning of your sacred postpartum season. We continue caring for you and your baby for the first six weeks, offering gentle, holistic, and spiritually-grounded support as you settle into life with your little one.
During postpartum visits we:
Assess your healing and overall well-being
Evaluate your baby’s growth and health
Check vitals for both mother and newborn
Offer breastfeeding guidance and encouragement
Provide emotional and spiritual support for the transition into motherhood
Your postpartum schedule typically includes visits at:
24–36 hours after birth
3–5 days postpartum
2–4 weeks postpartum
6 weeks postpartum
Through every step, our desire is to honor the God-given design of birth, nurture your confidence, and ensure you feel held, supported, and equipped as you welcome your little blessing into the world.
Curious about what’s included in our homebirth package? Send us a message—we’d love to share more about how we can walk alongside you in this beautiful, God-designed journey.

Testimonials
As a doula, I thought that I'd have no questions along the way, but boy did God humble me in the most beautiful ways throughout my fourth pregnancy and first homebirth. I had severe HG throughout my entire pregnancy and Sarah walked the path with me. On my darkest day when I asked the Lord to take the pain or the baby, Sarah spoke life over me and continued to support me and offer comfort and a listening ear whenever needed. My husband, who previously was skeptical of homebirth, felt totally at peace with the help of Sarah and Kelly. A sticky shoulder, a situation that would have been emergent in another setting, was handled calmly. When I reached the "I can't do this" point in my quick three-hour labor, both Sarah and Kelly prayed over me, and within five minutes my sweet boy joined us. When the postpartum blues felt like they may be turning into depression, Sarah came and sat next to me, just letting me know that I was held and not alone. She involved my older children, loved me well, and served with a heart of Jesus. - Alexandria B.
